6 weeks of progress during the pre-prep phase for our girl Alesha 🤩👏🏼
Before starting a competition prep, it’s important that an athlete is in the right position both physically and metabolically. When Alesha came to me, our priority wasn’t simply to push for fat loss as quickly as possible. Instead, we focused on a pre-prep phase designed to improve nutritional adherence, establish productive training habits, manage recovery, and create a physique that would be more responsive when it came time to dieting and training.
Over the last 6 weeks she has lost 4.5lbs, with noticeable improvements in muscle definition and overall shape.
From a physiological perspective, a gradual reduction in body fat improves insulin sensitivity, and the body’s ability to mobilise stored fat efficiently. By taking a strategic approach now, we can preserve as much lean muscle tissue as possible while creating the foundation needed for a successful prep.
I am incredibly proud of the work she has put in so far. The consistency, patience, and trust in the process are already paying off, and this is only the beginning. With plenty of time until her bikini debut and stepping on stage, I couldn’t be more excited to see what the coming months bring 💫
