It’s being vulnerable enough to turn up and share the rawest parts of yourself with a stranger.
The things you may have noticed every day.
The things you’ve probably scrutinised in the mirror, in photos, or simply tried not to think about.
And sometimes, that’s been there for years.
So when someone finally walks through my door, they’re not just trusting me with their treatment.
They’re trusting me with that part of themselves they’ve spent a long time hiding, scrutinising and feeling self-conscious about.
And that’s why feeling safe, understood and never judged matters so much.
Because sometimes, all someone really needs is to feel comfortable enough to be seen in the first place. 🤍
