Getting older has its challenges and can be an unsettling time for an individual and their family. Passion for Support provides care to adults in their own homes and supports them in their communities. Care in your own home ensures you maintain your independence and can continue to live life your way in familiar, comfortable surroundings.

We’ll work closely with you and your loved ones to personalise our services to meet your specific requirements, enabling you to maintain your independence and give you and your family the comfort of knowing that someone is watching out for you, but not cramping your style. We don’t provide ‘Ann Droid’ type random carers straight out of a box, we carefully select the carers who will visit you from our team of fully trained, experienced and qualified staff to ensure the person you see is someone you’ll want to get to know and can build rapport with.

Do you care for your spouse, or an adult child, relative or friend?

Passion For Support are an adult home care company serving the Calderdale area. We know how rewarding caring can be, but also how exhausting, time consuming and sometimes over whelming. Who cares for you when you desperately need a break or some time of your own?

Passion For Support can help by providing you with fully trained, experienced and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PAs). Our PAs can visit your home and look after the person you care for to allow you to take time off to do the things you’d like to do. Or our PAs can take the person you care for on outings, social engagements or to appointments leaving you to relax and enjoy time by yourself in your own home.

Are you an unpaid carer without even knowing it?

It’s Carers Week – an opportunity to help people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

An ‘unpaid carer’ is someone who cares or provides unpaid support to family or friends outside of an employment contract, regardless of any benefits or allowances claimed.

We’re proud to work in partnership with Carers Count Calderdale to provide help to unpaid carers in Calderdale who are 18 and over.

From health and wellbeing support to training and a range of support groups and social activities, the free service helps to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of local carers.

We work closely with our customers and their loved ones to personalise our services to ensure we meet the specific requirements that enable them to maintain their independence and give them and their family the comfort of knowing that someone is watching out for them, but not cramping their style.
