For months now, all I’ve had from Charlie, on repeat, is “I can’t wait to go the Pleasure Beach, I can’t wait to go the Pleasure Beach, I can’t wait to go the Pleasure Beach” on a loop.

Last week, I had to cut the session a little short, due to feeling unwell, so I promised to make it up to the lads this week.

On Wednesday, Blackpool Pleasure Beach emailed me with an unbelievable discount, so we snapped up the tickets.

Charlie’s parents said “He will burst with excitement when you tell him” and he didn’t have a clue until I arrived to pick him up.

His reaction wasn’t exactly what I, and his parents, had anticipated. 🤦🏻‍♂️
