We are deeply saddened to share the news that, sadly, Craig passed away last Friday, surrounded by his loving family.

We are aware that this news will come as a shock to many of you. If you are struggling or would like some support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a member of staff.

Our thoughts are with Craig’s family and loved ones at this incredibly sad time.

Once we have further details regarding the funeral, we will share them with you.

Please look after yourselves and each other during this difficult time.

🌟 MEET THE TEAM MONDAY 🌟

This week we’re introducing Nicola, our fantastic Office Manager here at Wearside Care! 👋

Nicola loves meeting new clients and getting to know them, watching their confidence grow and being part of their journey. She also plays a huge role behind the scenes, supporting the team, keeping everything organised and helping things run smoothly. 💙

⚽ Fun fact: Before joining Wearside Care, Nicola worked in a football centre and she’s also a season ticket holder! 🔴⚪️🐈‍⬛

When she’s not keeping everything running smoothly at Wearside Care, you’ll find Nicola camping, paddle-boarding and spending time with her three sons. 🏕️🏄‍♀️

Thank you for everything you do, Nicola. Your hard work, organisation and dedication help keep the whole Wearside Care team moving forward and we’re so proud to have you as part of our family! 💙

Our Breakfast Club tour continued this week with a visit to Cafe K9 ☕🍳

Our amazing clients enjoyed the fantastic food on offer before spending time saying hello to all the furry faces who regularly visit this dog friendly café. 🐶❤️

A huge thank you to the team for your warm hospitality and excellent service. We all had a brilliant morning and can’t wait to return next week! 👋

This week we’re introducing Keith, one of our experienced Support Workers here at Wearside Care. 👋

With over 20 years of experience in care, Keith is passionate about building trusting relationships and supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives. He loves helping the people he supports achieve their goals, grow in confidence and enjoy new experiences, making every day rewarding. 💙

⭐ Fun fact: Keith is a huge football fan, enjoys a good quiz and is well known for his cracking sense of humour - there’s never a dull moment when he’s around! ⚽😄

When he’s not at work, Keith enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting out for long walks, watching football, cooking a good meal and relaxing with a great film. 🍽️🎬

Thank you for everything you do, Keith. Your experience, kindness and dedication have made a positive difference to so many lives over the years, and we’re proud to have you as part of the Wearside Care family. 💙

Get ready for another unforgettable night of music, dancing & fun as we transform The Alex Pub into an inclusive underwater party! Fancy dress is completely optional, but as always there’ll be prizes for our best-dressed sea creatures, pirates, mermaids & ocean explorers! 🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️🏆

Jess loves seeing the people she supports grow in confidence and try new things all while having fun along the way. Helping people create happy memories and enjoy new experiences is what she loves most about her role. 💙

🇫🇷 Fun fact: Jess can say the Hail Mary in French… and she also has two completely different-sized feet! 🦶😂

When she’s not at work, you’ll usually find her kayaking, or chasing after the kids at soft play! 🚣‍♀️😄
