As interest in Pilates continues to grow, at Root we’ve been teaching the full Pilates method—all the equipment—since 2017.
For us, that means one thing: we’re always learning, deepening our understanding, and continuing our training.
Last year, Mavra travelled back and forth to Greece (we know, poor her! 😂) to study the Classical method with an instructor she had admired for years. A huge thank you to for sharing her knowledge and experience. Every trip confirmed what Mavra had long believed: there is always more to learn.
But here’s the thing—you can’t fully experience what Mavra discovered in Greece without the classical equipment. To truly appreciate the depth and brilliance of Joseph Pilates’ work, you need to experience the method as it was originally taught, with the equipment designed to support it.
That’s why we’re so excited to share that, from 18/06, our studio will be welcoming the Classical Universal Reformer, making Root a fully Classical-equipped studio.
We’re incredibly proud to be the first studio in the area to offer this, but even more excited about what it means for our clients: a deeper connection to the method, a richer Pilates experience, and an opportunity to explore the work as Joseph Pilates intended.
We can’t wait to share it with you. 🥰
