I don't normally do before and after videos as I feel they can potentially set a precedent for change that might sometimes be unrealistic 😊

However I felt this video of Mika showing how the harness and lead initially can be very arousing to building distraction and focus on high value food can help the handler work with her level of excitement 💪

So proud of Nicole and her partner who want to help Mika using kind positive training 🙏

An impromptu adventure down to Ashcombe Village Hall for a canine first aid course that meets Canine Hydrotherapy Association guidelines 🙏💪

Luckily I managed to book last minute on to the course run by Rachel Bean 🙏

It was a great group of canine professionals striving to do the best for their own dogs and dogs in their care 😀

Go Alfie 💦

Alfie has been seeing Ellen for about 6 months now building up his strength and confidence 💪

He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and his wonderful guardians are working wonders providing him Hydrotherapy and massage under close observation from his vets at Shepton Vets

His human mum even enrolled on a massage course (not the only wonderful person to have done this, I'm proud to say I know a few) so she could better understand his condition and help him relieve tension and feel more comfortable during his daily routine at home🙏

Today was Alfie's first swim, he is improving all the time :)

It's hot today, but thankfully not as hot as yesterday 🫣

The dogs today enjoyed some cooling paddling pool time post hydro 💦

I'm lucky it stays cool in my unit and am able to maintain a comfortable environment as long as the dogs can be travelled safely 🙏
