Thank you so very much Monks Yard Community and Sunflowers of Somerset for inviting our residents, families and volunteers to a garden party this afternoon! We were treated to savoury snacks, cakes, savoury and sweet scones and tea or coffee followed by a singalong. What a wonderful afternoon in beautiful surroundings making loving memories ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Fete on Saturday.
We were joined by our Mayor Michelle Gunn, Merriot majorettes were fantastic as was our very own Titus on the saxophone and Rita the Bubble Lady was a huge hit! We were also entertained by the wonderful singer Mawgan Stott
And, of course, thank you to all of you who came along and supported us. Your support makes such a difference.
I’m absolutely delighted to share that we raised a fantastic £935.83 for the Residents’ Fund.

That is a huge success, and it is all thanks to the generosity and support of our residents, relatives, staff and friends and local businesses

Celebrating 30 Years of Dedication at Hazelwell Lodge ❤️

On Wednesday, we celebrate an incredible milestone — 30 years of dedication, care and commitment.

Our wonderful manager began her journey with us as an apprentice carer, and through hard work, passion and an unwavering commitment to those in our care, she has worked her way up to become the amazing manager she is today.

For three decades, she has been a constant source of support, compassion and kindness to residents, families and colleagues alike. Her caring nature, knowledge and dedication are an inspiration to everyone around her.

She leads by example and is not only a fantastic manager, but a true role model to us all. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has given to Hazelwell Lodge and for the difference she continues to make every single day.

30 years is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate you! 🌟

Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and for always being there for your team and residents.

Happy 3 year work anniversary to Emily🥳✨

What an incredible week it has been for Emily, as she has also achieved another fantastic milestone by passing her Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care! 🎓👏

We are so proud of everything Emily has achieved over the past three years. Her hard work, dedication and commitment have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate these amazing achievements with her. 🌟

🎉 Happy 8th Work Anniversary, Marie! 💜

Eight years ago, Marie joined Hazelwell Lodge on our night team, and through her hard work and dedication has progressed to become our Head of Care for the Lilies unit and a valued member of the management team.

Thank you for your loyalty, support and everything you do for our residents, families and team. We truly appreciate you and are so lucky to have you as part of the Hazelwell family.

What an amazing July we have had so far! A belated party to celebrate Pride with karaoke and refreshments. A visit from Jan Rural Rhymes and Reminiscing where residents were taken down memory lane of summers past. Enjoying a beer while cheering England on. A visit to Monks Yard Community to enjoy Singing for Fun a lovely choice of songs to sing along to and delicious refreshments after. A spot of gardening. A visit to our beautiful The Minster, Ilminster to celebrate Ilminster’s Big Primary School Singalong and to finish off another visit from Tasty treats ltd for yummy ice creams in the garden! Another month of special treats and memories made ❤️

We would also appreciate donations for our raffle and tombola to raise money for our residents fund, this all goes to creating special, enriching activities and outings and to help family and friends create beautiful memories.
