Founder Dale Preece-Kelly, is a fully qualified Animal Assisted Therapy Practitioner, with a unique approach to counselling, wanting to unleash the healing power of animals in order to provide positive help for individuals with mental health issues. Since 2010, Dale and his Critterish Allsorts have been facilitating therapy sessions, alongside mental health professionals, for the patients of large secure private psychiatric hospitals, prisons and individuals. Critterish Allsorts are thought to be the only company in the world working on such a large scale, with mental health patients and prisoners, with the variety of species that are used to provide their animal assisted therapy services. In order to build on their pioneering work, Critterish Allsorts have decided to show their commitment to helping those with mental health issues, by making their animal assisted therapy service independent of the rest of the business, and the focus for their future.
