Summer is calling… ☀️⛱️🌷🧃✨

On Saturday 11th July we are hosting our annual Summer Fayre here at Ucan. We absolutely love this event, made even better if the sun comes out to play!

Look forward to a barbecue, stalls, face painting, tombola and games! Alongside that, our usual Saturday Cafe will be on the go serving cakes and coffee only, as the BBQ will the food covered!

We can’t wait to see you all there! Friends and family are are all very welcome ☺️✨

A reminder aout our Artist's Exhibition this Saturday 13th June! 🎨✨

Pop down to see our showcase of amazing art work, and grab yourself a hot roll, a coffee and a cake while you're there!

Join us for a fantastic morning of Art and Design as we showcase our service users’ amazing artwork! ✨✨

Our exhibition will take place during Learning Disability Awareness Week 2026, a week to shine a light on the talents of those who have additional support needs, and to help raise awareness. The exhibition will include paintings, collage, pencil drawing, mixed media, and sculpture.

Please join us at our exhibition on Saturday 13th June, where we will also have our cafe open serving delicious filled rolls, cakes made in our professional kitchen by our service users, and cracking coffee! ☕️🧁

What an absolutely amazing day we had for our plant sale in May! 🪴🌱✨

So much hard work and preparation was put into this event by our Trainees and Gardening groups, while the Cafe volunteers kept the cake and coffee flowing for all of our customers! 🧁☕️

Trek and Track group headed to a windy and slightly wet walk today to Barassie Beach. We used our new step counters which will take some getting used to, but enjoyed all the same ☺️ 🚶lots of smiles, laughs and some great conversations with our friends on the way too - success! ✅

Show Prop group got creative and made mocktails for the our show.. Mamma Mia! We had to tackle the problem of them having to be solid but also looking like liquid. The group came up with the idea of using gel wax! They are even scented!🍸🍹

Marc here working on the nest of tables he chose for an up-cycling project! He spent today sanding some tricky edges of the legs and enjoyed some banter with the other guys in the group! Lovely work Marc! 🪚✨
