🍦 Ice Cream Van Fun! 🍦

Last Thursday, we were treated to a lovely visit from the ice cream van, and our residents had a fantastic time enjoying a delicious sweet treat! 😋🍦

The weather was absolutely glorious… ☀️

Fast forward a few days and we’re back to the good old British weather — rain, rain and more rain! 🌧️😂

We clearly used up all our sunshine credits last Thursday! ☀️🤣

A huge thank you to the ice cream van for coming along and bringing plenty of smiles (and ice cream) to our residents! ❤️🍦

🧀 Cheese Tasting Fun! 🧀

Today our residents enjoyed a lovely cheese tasting session! There were lots of different cheeses to try, and everyone got involved and had great fun choosing their favourites. 😋

Now that the weather has cooled down, it was the perfect time to enjoy something a little different indoors. 🥰

We certainly have some cheese lovers here at the home! 🧀❤️

🌟 Monthly Armchair Exercise Class! 🌟

Our residents enjoyed their monthly armchair exercise class with Chris again today! 🪑💪

Everyone got really involved and had a fantastic time getting active, moving to the music and having lots of fun. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces and everyone joining in! ❤️

🌞 What a fantastic Summer Fair! 🌞

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Summer Fair! 💕 We are absolutely delighted to have raised an amazing £716! 🎉👏

A special thank you to everyone who donated prizes and items for our raffle — your generosity means so much to us. 🎟️❤️

We have included a few photos from the day, although we didn’t manage to get many as there were so many of you who came along to show your support! 🥰

Thank you all once again for making the day so special for our residents and for helping us raise such a fantastic amount. 💐

🌞 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US! 🌞

What a fantastic Summer Fayre we had! 💛

We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for coming along and supporting us. It was by far the busiest Summer Fayre we’ve had yet, and we have to admit, the number of people who turned up took all of us staff completely by surprise! 😲 We are so incredibly thankful for every single person who came along, supported us, enjoyed the afternoon and helped make it such a huge success. 🥰

A massive thank you to all of our staff who volunteered their time and to those who worked their shifts today. We really couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️ Thank you also to everyone for bearing with us during the busy periods, being so patient and understanding, and helping us keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

A huge thank you to all the lovely ladies who brought along their wonderful stalls, our fantastic singer who kept us entertained 🎶, and of course our two very stressed BBQ men who worked tirelessly keeping everyone fed! 🌭😂

And a special thank you to Mark, who made sure the garden was clean, tidy and ready for everyone to enjoy. 🌿👏

We also want to say a massive THANK YOU for all the generous raffle donations. Your kindness and generosity helped make the raffle a fantastic part of the day, and we really appreciate every single donation. 🎟️💕

🎟️ Raffle reminder: The raffle will be drawn on 11th August, so keep hold of those tickets and keep your fingers crossed! 🤞🍀

Days like yesterday really show what a wonderful community we have around our home, and we are so grateful for every single person who helped, donated, attended or simply came along to support us.

After seeing how many of you came along, we’ll definitely be planning next year’s Summer Fayre with a much bigger crowd in mind! 😉🎉

Thank you all so, so much for making it such a brilliant day. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! ❤️
