🌾 Giving farming communities a voice where it matters.

From conversations with farming families to correspondence with DEFRA — we’re determined to ensure the voices behind British agriculture are heard.

We’re pleased to have received a formal response from DEFRA following our correspondence with the Secretary of State regarding the closure of the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) application window.

Through AgriMinds, we gathered evidence from 183 respondents, with our findings subsequently published by Parliament’s Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee.

Importantly, DEFRA has welcomed our offer to share evidence to help inform future agricultural policy development.

But for us, this is about far more than funding.

It’s about the people behind the businesses, the families behind the farms, and the emotional impact of uncertainty and decisions made beyond the farm gate.

Agricultural policy should not only consider the future of farming. It must also consider the wellbeing of the people responsible for that future.

We’ll continue working to ensure farming communities are heard where decisions are made.

Because behind every farm business is a person, a family and a future worth protecting. 💚

We’re getting ready to launch The Gate Conversation — creating space for connection, understanding and conversations that matter within our farming communities.

Because you never know what someone might be carrying behind a smile, and sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference.

🌾❤️ AND HERE WE GO… STAY ANOTHER SEASON! ❤️🌾

Everything is packed, the workbooks are printed, the resources are ready, and today marks a very special milestone for Agriminds.

Our very first Stay Another Season su***de awareness training session!

What started as an idea, driven by a determination to make a difference within our farming communities, has finally become a reality.

There have been weeks of planning, writing, designing, printing, changing things, and probably a fair amount of head-scratching along the way! But seeing everything come together makes every bit of effort worthwhile.

This programme has been developed with one simple but incredibly important purpose: to help people recognise when someone may be struggling, give them the confidence to start a conversation about su***de, and remind people that hope and support are always worth reaching for.

I have big ambitions for Stay Another Season. I would love to see it reaching farming communities right across the country.

But today, it starts with one room, one group of people and hopefully some conversations that really matter.

Because we may never know the difference one conversation can make, or whose life it might help save.

Here’s to the first of hopefully many, many sessions. 🌾❤️

Founding Supporter – Agri-Journey Ltd 💛

We are incredibly proud to welcome Agri-Journey Ltd, founded by the brilliant Steph Crack, as a founding supporter of Stay Another Season.

Steph has built her own place in the haulage industry through hard work, determination and a real understanding of the people around her. She knows that behind every business, every lorry, every farm and every working day, there are real people carrying pressures that often go unseen.

Stay Another Season is about su***de awareness in farming and rural communities. It is about helping people recognise when someone may be struggling, giving them the confidence to start a difficult conversation, and making sure they know where to signpost someone for support.

That is why Steph’s support means so much.

Founding supporters like Steph are helping us take these conversations into more rooms, more businesses and more rural communities, and helping us challenge the silence and stigma that can still surround su***de.

Our aim is to reach 1,000 people in the first 12 months, and we simply could not do that without people who are prepared to stand beside us right from the beginning.

Steph, thank you for believing in what we’re trying to achieve and for backing Stay Another Season from the start. It genuinely means a lot.

The Tractor-ish Run stickers are here!! 🚜💚

Just a little memento to say thank you for supporting us — and hopefully a reminder of why we do these things in the first place.

I’ll admit, that thought has crossed my mind a few times while organising this tractor run 🤪😂 There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes, but every bit of effort is worth it if it helps us raise awareness, start conversations and get Stay Another Season in front of more people in our farming community.

So if you’re joining us on Sunday, you’ll be getting one of these little stickers as a thank you from us. 💚
