Do you ever get so caught up in the bigger picture that you end up overwhelmed with life?

I brought this question to my journal this morning, and this is what came up:

We don’t need to have it all figured out. We just need to take the next best step. However small.

Those small steps add up. And if we keep checking in with ourselves to see how each of those small steps feel, it can help keep us on the right path.

So, if everything has felt like too much lately, ask yourself, what’s the next best step I can take right now?

And then take it.

Life has a way of repeating the lesson until we’re ready to learn and grow from it. We can reframe our thinking from ‘why does this keep happening to me’ to ‘what is this trying to show me?’

It’s from this place of awareness that we can make changes. And that takes courage and patience as it’s uncomfortable and isn’t an overnight fix.

But with awareness and self-compassion we can keep taking steps in the right direction 🤍

You don’t have to be perfect.

You just have to show up, again, and again, and again.
That’s how progress happens.

Some days it might be a full workout.
Some days it might be 10 minutes of meditation or yoga on your bedroom floor.

Both count. Both are consistency.

Stop waiting for the version of you who has it all together, she’s not coming. This version of you is enough.
