When you work this close to death every week it’s a stark reminder to do what you can to stay fit and well, and then get on and live your life.

I need to make some dog decisions. This dog-less life is not for me.

Do the thing while you can. Xx

Obviously I read every single one of my NHS circulation emails from start to finish and they’re never boring or irrelevant at all. 🤪

Even minimal dose movement is worth it.

5 for 5. ✔️

Asking for evidence is not disempowering women, quite the opposite in fact.

It’s clear from comments in her post that she has a loyal following and that’s fine.

But there’s such a ridiculous amount of conflated issues here it doesn’t even make sense.

But rage gets clicks. Clicks means views. Views lead to sales.

Of course it’s always the ladies who open with a

“Sorry to bother you doctor”

If you don’t come, I don’t earn. 😂

Don’t apologise so much.

FYI the estimated viewing figures for Scott and Charlene’s wedding was 18-20 million 😳😳😳

Bet it wasn’t just me blubbjng. 😂

Anyway if anyone could fix wonky neck Karl Kennedy would. Meanwhile I’ll just be patient.

Midlife hazards. Pillows and cupboards. ☢️⚠️

Take care out there 🤣

Neck spasms and back spasms are similar. You have to move as much as the pain will allow, whinge to everyone in earshot and let it pass.

It does.

Till next time.

“Healthy user bias” means people who lift weights are often healthier in lots of other ways too.

That’s a limitation of big studies like this.

But it’s also a useful reminder that health habits tend to come as a package deal.

Personally, I’d rather be in the group that lifts weights than the group that doesn’t.

So, if you’re metabolically healthy, you don’t need to worry about spikes,

but it’s a good idea not to be drinking coke or equivalent sugary drinks like they’re going to become extinct.

If you’re a diabetic or prediabetic, you still don’t need to buy silly glucose spike prevention supplements,

just manage your refined sugars, move after eating and don’t drink your calories.

This matters to all of us because we are all patients.

No matter how much insurance you can afford, our system here means you will need NHS and or social care services at some point and it’s in all our interests to keep working to improve them.

I’d love to know who’s hair brain idea this was in Westminster 😫
