HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY, LENNY!

Today we’re celebrating the smallest member of our team, but someone who has one of the biggest hearts.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful Lenny, our therapy dog, loyal friend and a very special part of the Jukes Funeral Services family.

Lenny has been part of Jukes for his entire life, taking on his very important role at just 8 weeks old. Seven years later, we simply couldn’t imagine our funeral home without him.

Over the years, Lenny has offered something that sometimes words simply can’t.

He welcomes families through our doors when they may be feeling nervous or overwhelmed. He sits quietly beside them while they make some of the hardest decisions of their lives. He waits with love and a wagging tail when families leave our Chapel of Rest. And sometimes, when there really are no words, he is simply there.

He gives unconditional love and comfort not only to the families we have the privilege of caring for, but to our team too.

Lenny will never understand just how important his little presence is, or how many people he has comforted over the last seven years, but we certainly do.

You may be the smallest member of our team, Lenny, but you leave the biggest paw prints on so many hearts.
