The Sporting Chance Summit is all about the mix of athletes, mental health professionals and everyone else that supports athletes in the day to day. Here are just some of the sportspeople inked in for this year’s event, including our founder, Tony Adams.

We’re kicking off 2026 with some great news — the Sporting Chance Summit is back!

After taking a break in 2025, the Summit returns this year by popular demand and this time we’re heading up to the north of England and the wonderful city of York, giving more people the opportunity to engage in the important conversations around professional sport and mental health.

Tickets will be on sale soon, but for now, if a trip to York sounds appealing, make sure you block out 1 October 2026 in your diary.

We’ll be sharing more details with you very soon.

Up to 50 current and retired athletes are admitted to our addiction clinic each year. We are helping these sportspeople with their first steps on a journey of recovery, transforming their relationships and behaviours around alcohol, other drugs and gambling.

It works. 76% of our clients are still in contact with us one year after their clinic stay, have remained abstinent for that year, and are well on their way on that recovery journey.

Athletes can get help through the GET HELP NOW button on our website homepage. Support staff can enquire about referring athletes to us by emailing [email protected]
