🔥| Dodgeball Club |🔥

Well that was a HOT one!! 🔥

What a way to finish off the year at this week’s final dodgeball club. Great kids, great atmosphere and great fun!

It has been an absolute pleasure to run this club and finish my week in such a high every Friday!

Well done to all of our players who work hard every session. Well done hope to see you all back in September!

🧡| This Girl Can |💜

What a lovely final session we had today

As always we finished off the half term with a crafty session and tonight was friendship bracelets. The girls enjoyed creating their own designs, sharing them with each other and making some for their families.

I have absolutely loved working with this amazing group of girls and have enjoyed seeing them build their confidence through sport.

Beautiful friendships have formed throughout the year, which I know will continue through school.

Following the recent government announcement about the removal of Sports Premium funding, many schools are now looking for ways to maintain their sports provision.

Feel Good Sport UK can help!

We offer an extensive range of after school sports clubs that your pupils will love, at absolutely NO cost to your school.

🎨| Craft Club |🎨

At today’s Craft Club the children enjoyed making their own ‘Dream Catchers.’

We used colourful ribbons, string and beads to create a pretty hanging decoration that can be placed indoors or outdoors.

🔥| Dodgeball Friday |🔥

Another top night of dodgeball today!

Today’s session focused on reaction time - an essential dodgeball skill! The children had to time their jumps and use a cone between their feet to trap a tennis ball.

To finish we played a traditional game of dodgeball, which ended with the entire bag of dodgeballs being launched at our year 6’s who’s last session it was tonight.

Thanks to our year 6 players for being such fantastic role models to our younger players. Your support and encouragement has been lovely to see and we are all grateful for your help.

We wish you all the best of luck at your new schools in September! Keep playing dodgeball!

💚🫟| Rock Painting |🫟💛

What fun we had at today’s craft club painting our own ‘Positivity Rocks.’

The children selected their rock and used acrylic paint pens to add their own unique designs.

Some children chose to turn their rocks into small animal designs, whilst others chose a floral theme.

Some children used different words of positivity on their rocks and decorated them with bright motivational colours.

A really great session! Well done everyone!

🤸‍♀️| Gymnastics Club |🤸

Tonight our gymnasts worked really hard on developing their floor skills.

We practiced different types of rolls and made sure we had a strong start and finishing position.

Next we moved on to balance and paid particular attention to partner balances. We reminded ourselves about safety when working with someone else and the importance of good body tension to ensure high quality performance.

Great work everyone! Well done 👏🏻

🧡| Our Week in Pictures |💚

Well that was a HOT one for sure! Huge well done to all of the children for their amazing efforts at all our clubs this week.

Our gymnasts enjoyed large apparatus work on Monday, followed by shadow drawing and leaf rubbings at Tuesday’s craft club.

Last night we kept things nice and relaxed at This Girl Can where the children completed a scavenger hunt followed by some mindful colouring.

Hopefully things will have cooled down a bit for next week!
