When dental implants don’t give you the smile — or the bite — you were expecting.
This patient had already undergone extensive dental treatment elsewhere, including dental implants and implant-supported bridgework.
But something wasn’t right.
Despite having fixed teeth, his bite was far from ideal (THE BEFORE PHOTO IS THE PATIENT BITING!) . His upper and lower teeth weren’t meeting as they should, leaving him with a significant gap when biting together.
He came to see me looking for a solution.
The challenge? We weren’t starting from scratch. We were working with existing implants and restorative work, which makes correcting the bite considerably more complex.
This is where advanced implant restorative dentistry comes into its own.
Through careful planning, precision and an understanding of how the teeth, implants and bite work together, we were able to reconstruct his smile and establish a much more harmonious bite.
The transformation speaks for itself.
From a compromised bite to a beautifully balanced, natural-looking smile.
Cases like this demonstrate that implant dentistry isn’t simply about replacing missing teeth. It’s about restoring the entire smile — aesthetically, functionally and predictably.
Because having dental implants is one thing. Getting the bite right is another.
