The Association of Reproductive Reflexologists undertook a data collection study of 180 clients, who were receiving reproductive reflexology whilst trying to conceive.

And here is the data:
- 100 Natural Conceptions
- 22 with IVF/ICSI
- Age Range 24 -46
- Average Number of Treatments 11.32
- 68% conceived whilst receiving treatment.
- Pregnancy with IVF/ICSI 52%

Reflexology is based on the belief that the body is mapped onto the hands and feet - every gland, organ, muscle etc. By applying pressure to specific areas on the feet/hands, can trigger the body to restore itself back to its natural setting and therefore aides the body to work as well as it can.

This foot map shows some of the reflexes I work during the treatment.

During and after your treatment you are likely to feel a deep sense of relaxation and you are also likely to feel as if your mood has improved and have an improved sense of wellbeing. You're also likely to enjoy better sleep afterwards too!

Reflexology can make all the difference to your day by giving you a good night's sleep.

With the stresses and strains of everyday life, we sometimes need help to switch off before bed. Even if we manage to fall asleep, you may find yourself waking in the night not able to to get back to sleep, leaving us feeling exhausted.

Sleep is vital for our mental and physical health.

A detailed meta-analysis of 42 randomised, controlled studies with 3,928 participants with sleep problems, showed significant improvements in sleep disturbances after reflexology treatments.(references can be found https://www.nextstep-reflexology.co.uk/references )

1 in 3 of us will suffer from tinnitus in our lives. Tinnitus is often described as a ringing in the ears, this can be continuous or intermittent - everybody's experience is different.

The British Tinnitus Association recommends playing background noise or sound as a distraction and joining a support group to help you cope. They also recommend trying to reduce stress, relax more and improve sleep which is where reflexology comes into play.
