Thinking of you if you’re finding it hard this week… mid cycle, recent results, things coming up or you’re just tired of all the BTS / holiday chat xx

08/07/2026

Recording coming soon!

Thank you to and for inviting me back for another great chat about the side of infertility that’s often so many suffer with and that’s often silenced

As often happens, while talking the host kindly shared about his friend who struggled with recurrent miscarriage. Many of us feel alone when going through infertility/loss.. but there has never been a time I’ve shared what I do or my experience and the person hasn’t said that either they’ve experienced it personally, or someone very close to them has

We are not as alone as we feel 💕

Also huge shout out to .summits for their incredible support and guidance, laughter and nudging through the “bonkers 3 peaks” 😆

My heart is bursting after such an incredible weekend. The adventure, the views, the people. Blown away by it all and having serious withdrawals today!

Thank you to everyone who donated to this important cause including friends, family, clients. Every penny counts towards the incredible work and things to come for .action

The team .summits were the perfect level of support, kindness and the occasional encouraging ’fibs’ 😉

What a weekend! 💕

It’s tomorrow! Sh*ts getting real now 🫢

I’ve been blown away by the community and support around this.. clients and friends asking regularly how training is, local businesses and friends donating as well as people I know who are saving every penny for treatment yet spare some to go to this cause. I couldn’t be more grateful. The 20ish of us doing this are equally nervous, excited, encouraging. The leaders .summits strongly telling us what we need, while being gentle and supportive, promising to be with us every step good or bad.

I can’t help but be reminded of the synergies between this and what we all want for life in general.

That sense of community. That “we’ve got you”. The camaraderie of “you’re nuts to do this, but we’re here for it all”.

We’re nudged so often to be independent, an island. Maybe even more so for women to prove that we can do it all, all at once. That we don’t need others, that we can fight our own fight.

In reality, to succeed we always need a team of sorts. Whether a relationship, colleagues, friends, family.. who we have around us doesn’t just change the outcome but also our experience of the journey.

I’ll remember these last few months forever. And aren’t there so many parallels here between this and infertility, pregnancy and later whether with or without children too?

Maybe this is what it’s all about.. to raise awareness, to support the incredible .action but also to highlight the value of community. How we can climb higher and further with the right people by our side, and with the personal confidence to just simply believe that one foot in front of the other we will get there

If you haven’t donated already and would like to my link is in the bio and comments. I’m at £622 of my £1000 target. If just a few were to give £10 it would hit it, and do so much to improve infertility support.

Sending love to all.

Building a playlist for the challenge this afternoon and want to bring you along.. please add a suggestion in the comments.

Over the weekend I’ll be sharing updates so be sure to keep an eye 👀

All the chat, walking, wondering, guessing… it’s now next weekend!

All day I’ve been thinking how “this time next week we’ll be walking”… for a lot of the day!!

If you’re wondering, it’ll go something like this…

05:30-10:30 climb Ben Nevis
16:30-20:45 climb Scarfell Pike
01:30-05:15 climb Snowdon

Even writing this I’m laughing in that “oh dear” kinda way! 🫣😂

But, it’s all for a great cause. The training, the nerves, the determination, the unknown represents a tiny bit my own infertility journey. Trusting the process with a whole heap of nerves, confident that some way / some how we’ll get there. One step at a time, one foot in front of the other.

Because sometimes that really is the only option.

We’re doing this for you. Raising awareness and understanding about one of the hardest times in a persons life. Raising money for .action to support their work, and to achieve even more.

If you’re able to donate any amount at all it would be hugely appreciated. The link to donate is in my bio. Thank you 🙏

Keep an eye out for more updates, maybe even a little live at some point next week. I’m taking you with me! 😘

This time next week we’ll be tucking into haggis at the Ben Nevis Inn, just a few hours before “the challenge” starts

There’s been chat about pants, polls for poles, Percy Pigs, crying for an hour, watching stars and more.

I still can’t quite believe we’re doing this, but throwing everything at it.

It was the “if you don’t want to climb the mountain and prefer to stay at the bottom looking at the stars” that got me!! A little voice said we should be tucked up in bed when the stars are out, not starting to climb a mountain!!! Of course in reality we’re all going to be looking at the stars while climbing (what?!)

If you know me you know there will be a healthy spread of determination, comedy, solidarity and WTF’ness.

Follow me for more news as we go climbing the crazy 🏔️🏔️🏔️ (it’s changed to snow capped because there’s snow on one of them 🫪)

This is all to raise awareness of infertility, the fight so many of us go through, and the amazing work of .action who are working hard to create community, change norms and increase knowledge in this special space.

If you can donate at all, even a couple of £’s will be hugely appreciated. Link in bio to donate

Thank you!! xx

I think we all do this a bit… Don’t get too excited for the night out, just in case it’s a flop. Lower the bar, stay in your bubble, protect yourself from the crash.

I caught myself doing it this morning for something happening this week. Not because I expect it to go badly. Just don’t want to be too excited incase it’s not that good!

And I see this all the time with TTC.

Going into a cycle expecting the worst. Because then if it doesn’t work, you’re prepared. And if it does, bonus. But TTC isn’t a night out.

It’s a ginormous life change. Gut-wrenching. Heart-stifling. And it happens every.single.month.

Living in that constant rollercoaster sends your nervous system into overdrive. The reality is, if you spend the next few weeks expecting it to fail, and then it does, those three weeks don’t soften the heartache. If anything, they just extend it.

So people say: be positive 🫢

But you’ve been here before. You know positivity isn’t a guarantee. And forcing it feels like a lie.

There’s a middle ground that I guide my ladies towards. Not toxic positivity. Not braced for impact. Something steadier where you can actually live your life during a cycle, feel more settled in your mind and body.

The rollercoaster doesn’t disappear. But it slows down. The tsunami becomes something slower you can paddle in.
It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. ✨

Curious what that middle ground looks like? Drop me a message or a 🌊 below.

Something I say to my son on repeat “you are in control”. It’s can be for all sorts of things. It’s something I wish had been taught more. Not to push away emotions, but to be in control of them. Rather than be “drunk” on the emotion, be in the drivers seat.

When TTC, everything can feel out of control. Realising the control we can reclaim on our thoughts and mindset has a big impact on more than just TTC 😘

Today is a step back to where it all started.. . A place bringing together so many people from the fertility space, with a common goal. A place to ask questions, gather ideas, a space where people just get it.

The first time I went, I went alone not quite sure what to expect. Between cycles, on the tightrope between hope and fear. Most of all, disliking my body for needing to be there in the first place.

It was, and still is, such a great space to connect and be heard. For slithers of advice and suggestions. To move from fear to possibility

If you’re heading there and feeling apprehensive, or excited, I hope you have a nice day.

I’ll be supporting the stand. Whether you see me there, or walking around, come say hi.. it’d be lovely to meet you in person x
