Are you a Haringey Council resident who has experienced support from a Social Prescribing Link Worker? If so The Patients Association and National Academy for Social Prescribing would like to invite you to take part in a short survey by 26 June to help shape social prescribing services for all. https://tinyurl.com/34jcw8x7

NASP are working with The Patients Association to learn about people’s experiences of social prescribing. Together, we are surveying anyone who has ever had support from a Social Prescribing Link Worker, so we can learn about your experiences.

Your feedback will help shape NASP’s strategy and support the delivery of the best, most appropriate social prescribing services for all.

A report 'Learning Together' has been released by National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death reviewing the quality of care provided to adults with a learning disability who were admitted to hospital acutely unwell.

With funding from GSK and Novartis, The Patients Association has translated two factsheets: Knowing your rights and accessing support as a patient and Getting the most out of your appointments into Arabic, Bengali, Portuguese, Romanian and Urdu.

They have also published a report, which contains feedback from the six focus groups they ran for this project. The report also contains research on those who speak English as an additional language and highlights the many barriers to care that they face.

Top up your protection against COVID-19 by getting vaccinated this spring if you are eligible by 30 June.

Those at increased risk from severe illness can get the vaccine, including those aged 75 or over, people with a weakened immune system or who live in an older adult care home.

If eligible, you do not need to wait for an invitation to book your vaccine.

You may also be able to visit a walk-in site which does not require a booking.
