Every relationship is unique, and people come together for many different reasons. Part of what defines a healthy relationship is sharing a common goal for exactly what you want the relationship to be and where you want it to go. And that’s something you’ll only know by talking deeply and honestly with your partner.
All relationships go through ups and downs and they all take work, commitment, and a willingness to adapt and change.

We’re back!

I know it’s been months I haven’t posted on this page. And there is no valid reason but I think we both .a_dave and I needed this break.

Over these years I've come to learn that ultimately, what's most important is to be happy in the now, and to focus on things that are personally meaningful. I think most of us live in this age of instant gratification, where we're constantly reminded that if we're not out there doing what we can do to live our "best" life then it's somehow not as meaningful.

I still remember when I started this page. I had set some goals and I did not stick to them. There are so many things that has happened over the past few years. Moving to a different country, starting a whole new life blah blah…There were times of ups and downs; highs and lows. But I am always grateful for everyday. I really appreciate you all sticking around and supporting me through it all.

I think taking some time off from living that perfect life may sound like a totally impossible prospect, but it’s not! You deserve a break, and probably have some vacation days racking up. So cash them in, and give yourself some much-needed time off.

We all experience a lack of motivation from time to time. On a day like this, we might feel tired, irritable, or just unable to stir the usual interest in the things we typically enjoy. Occasional periods of feeling this way are perfectly NORMAL. It might mean that you're under extra stress or trying to deal with something out of the ordinary in your life. It might be a sign that we need to step back, take a break, and let our mind and body rest.

Note: On days when you don't feel like doing anything, don’t forget to check in with yourself to make sure that you have the things you need to feel okay.

Today Mr Froggy has come to give us some insights on social anxiety. Swipe left to read more!

“What if I end up making a fool of myself at that party?” “What if someone notices that I am sweating so much?” “Man, I am just not able to shake this away, I need to go home!”

Social anxiety is more than being just shy. To some, it might look like you’re uninterested, rude or just not a people person, but it goes way beyond failing to make eye contact or engaging in small talk. Social anxiety, also called social “phobia” includes marked distress in situations that may cause embarrassment, humiliation, majorly during interactions of some kind.

Of course, it is normal to be nervous in certain situations like taking the stage for the first time, or sitting for that “dream” job interview, or even going om a first date! However, if you notice this happen to an extent that it disrupts your daily life, like avoiding interactions altogether, consider seeking professional help. Mr Froggy believes that those nerves can be tackled with! 💪
