At the end of a gym session today, I decided to give this a go - an L-sit Pull-Up, thinking I’d have zero chance.
The first attempt was more or less there and then we filmed the 2nd attempt.
Genuinely shocked and happy with my progress.
But the point is. I thought I’d fail, and look like a wally (as I was training with someone who can do these things with ease).
But I’ve learned to not care about trying and failing - because I’m absolutely certain that anyone who is good at anything, will at some point have tried, failed, felt silly then got over themselves and tried again.
So that’s my message to the other women out there. It might be a pull-up, it might be using a new machine in the gym. It might be your first burpee , it might be trying the skierg.
Try and fail. And try again. It doesn’t matter! Because NOT trying at all is the only actual way you can truly fail.
PS if you do a lot of weights or work with barbells, check out my new callus hand care tool for women.
Shameless plug but hey. I designed it myself and I am pretty proud of it 😆
