“I’m living my life in the cracks of other people’s needs.”

This line from ‘s play Inter Alia stopped me right in my tracks. A devastatingly beautiful way of describing the lives of so many women.

It is hard work to prioritise ourselves. It can feel alien and unsafe and impossible at times. But to truly belong, we must keep trying.

Find what lights you up and follow it, it won’t lead you astray ✨

Only one month to go, lovelies, till our gorgeous Spiral. In X Somapresence circle ✨️
This will be a restful afternoon of courageously speaking your truth, gently moving your body and allowing sound to sooth you. This is not just a circle, it's the start of reclaiming your feminine powers.

And I wonder, dear one, how do you feel reading that?
What comes up when you imagine yourself being witnessed by other women, being seen as you, fully, as you speak, move and rest?

Joining a circle like this sounds incredibly nourishing and divine for some women and for others, it's their worst nightmare. If you're one of those women, feeling like something inside you really wants to join but something else is saying 'hell no', then this post is for you.

Because you know what, you're right. It can feel really big to put yourself in a situation where you might feel awkward as f*ck, you might feel like you're not doing it right or like everyone is looking at you and judging you. Heck, haven't we all been conditioned to fear and distrust one another as women (hello witch wound and thanks patriarchy), so why would you bring your vulnerability to a room full of them?
But you see, that is the point. It takes a gentle and positive experience to start healing from all those previous ones where we were disappointed, hurt or humiliated by a woman. It takes courage to trust again, to be the one who chooses to believe that strength truly comes from vulnerability and feminine community. In softening and reconnecting with each other in an authentic way, we can start to feel the power that arises when women are in support of one another. This is in our blood and bones, there's nothing new to learn here, all you have to do is be brave and show up as you. We will hold you and create the safe space in which we can all be ourselves, be awkward together and belong exactly as we are.

📸 What do fungi on a tree have to do with reconnecting women you ask? Well, if the blooms of a mycelium network aren't the perfect symbols for collaboration and interconnectedness, then I don't know what is ☺️🍄💛

Come be together with us next month, we would love to journey with you (link in bio) ✨️

One of the things I’d like to achieve with my work is healing and strengthening connections between women. Something powerful happens when women come together in support of one another and create, encourage and collaborate in service of others and for the good of all. I can only describe it as magic.

So here’s a bit of magic for you ✨

I’m so excited to be collaborating with some gorgeous women, offering nourishing practices that blend in beautifully with circle.

Join , .royle and me on International Women’s Day for a restful journey that weaves together the power of women’s circle, somatic movement and sound healing ❤️‍🔥
