from 2020 , when the world was in lock down and we had time to notice , to talk , to be ---- a few years later and the world is very different. i have been using this poem BLESSING FOR PRESENCE to remind myself to pause , to breath ground and find presence -
John O’ Donohue
May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
May you receive great encouragement when new paths beckon.
May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path.
May you know that the wisdom you are seeking is already within you, ready to emerge in light when you need it.
May you find calm in the midst of storms, clarity in the midst of chaos, and may your spirit never lose sight of the beauty and wonder of life

After taking time out — travelling, resting, and simply slowing down — I’m beginning to find my way back with a calmer mind and a softer pace 🤍
The past year of teaching has been full, rewarding and wonderful, but I realised how much I needed a little space to pause, breathe, and just be for a while. Stepping away reminded me how important rest really is — not as a luxury, but as something we all need.
I’m really looking forward to returning to teaching, reconnecting, and sharing practice together again. Thank you for holding the space while I was away… I can’t wait to see familiar faces and move, rest, and breathe together soon, Henry is back to his regular schedule Monday- Online

Deep Restorative Yoga is a slow, nurturing practice designed to guide your body and mind into profound rest. Using supportive props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, each posture is held comfortably for extended periods, allowing the nervous system to soften and reset.

This class emphasizes stillness, gentle breath awareness, and mindful presence, creating space for deep release and healing. Rather than stretching or strengthening, the focus is on restoration—helping reduce stress, calm the mind, and replenish energy reserves.

Suitable for all levels, including beginners and those recovering from injury or burnout, Deep Restorative Yoga offers a quiet sanctuary to slow down, let go, and reconnect with a sense of ease and balance.

Students often share that they leave class feeling deeply relaxed, grounded, and refreshed. Many notice improved sleep, reduced anxiety, and a greater sense of emotional balance after just one session. Some describe the experience as “the deepest rest I get all week,” while others say it helps them manage stress, chronic tension, or fatigue more effectively.

Suitable for all levels, including beginners and those recovering from injury or burnout, Deep Restorative Yoga offers a quiet sanctuary to slow down, let go, and reconnect with a sense of ease, clarity, and well-being.
