✨ Look up at the sky tonight! 🌙✨

Today, 12th August 2026, is a truly special night for sky watchers. 🌌

Not only do we have a New Moon and a spectacular partial solar eclipse, but we are also entering the peak of the Perseid meteor shower — making this a very magical night to connect with the sky and the universe. ✨

☄️ Peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower

Several planets are part of this impressive alignment, including:

✨ Mercury
✨ Venus
✨ Mars
✨ Jupiter
✨ Saturn

And later tonight, the Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak, with the best viewing expected after midnight and into the early hours of 13th August. Under dark, clear skies, you may be lucky enough to see shooting stars lighting up the sky. ☄️✨

6:17 pm — Eclipse begins
7:13 pm — Maximum eclipse, with around 92% of the Sun covered
8:06 pm — Eclipse ends

What an incredible night to pause, look up, reflect and appreciate the universe around us. 🌙✨

And please remember — never look directly at the Sun during the eclipse without proper certified eclipse glasses. 🌞🕶️
