Residents enjoyed a pleasant day trip to Hollow Ponds, travelling comfortably with Barbara Bus. The outing gave everyone the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Epping Forest, take in the fresh air, and spend time together in a relaxed setting.
Residents enjoyed a leisurely walk around the ponds, admired the wildlife, and had time to chat, laugh, and take photographs. Many also enjoyed refreshments and the peaceful atmosphere.

To mark Carers Week, our residents took part in a special activity to show their appreciation for the wonderful care and support provided by our dedicated team.
Residents enjoyed colouring beautiful thank-you cards, adding their own personal touch to each one. They then presented the cards, along with flowers and a small gift, to members of staff as a heartfelt token of gratitude.
The thoughtful gestures were warmly received, and our staff were genuinely touched by the kindness and appreciation shown by the residents. It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate the special relationships within our home and to recognize the compassion, dedication and hard work of our care team.

A big thank you to all of our carers for everything they do each day to make a positive difference to the lives of our residents.

Thank you to the wonderful Anna who visited Aspray House this morning to perform her Ukulele Show which was a huge hit. Residents were singing along to Que Sera Sera and in awe of her playing her ukulele; a simply beautiful moment watching our residents enjoy the show 😊

This week, our residents enjoyed a wonderfully creative afternoon of cake decorating! The activity brought smiles, laughter, and a chance for everyone to express their artistic flair.

It marks the beginning of a new year on the lunar calendar and is a time for family gatherings, decorations, and wishing others happiness and prosperity. Last week we celebrated Pie Week. Throughout the week, residents enjoyed a variety of traditional pies, from the classic pork pie, sweet pies like apple and cherry and lemon meringue to hearty favourites like chicken and mushroom and steak and ale. The kitchen team did an amazing job preparing fresh pies that filled the home with the comforting smell of home baking.
