A wonderful afternoon of food, culture and togetherness at Southborough! ☀️💜

As part of Care UK's initiative 'Taste of Home' food festival, the afternoon at Southborough was all about bringing people together through the joy of sharing food, music and shared experiences.

A beautiful table was created featuring flavours from around the world - from delicious Indian dishes and Korean dumplings to Swiss desserts and plenty of other treats. It was lovely to see everyone sharing food, stories and a little bit of their own culture. Our kitchen and colleagues came together to make this lovely spread possible!

The afternoon was made even more special with some Bollywood dancing, with families, team members and residents of Southborough getting involved, having fun and sharing plenty of smiles. 💃🕺

It was one of those afternoons that felt genuinely special - full of laughter, connection and a real sense of community.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon such a memorable one. ❤️

Our residents have been loving the sensory activities on the Mobii Table by . From getting competitive with the fun splat games to marvelling at the beautiful shadow painting activity and discovering their favourite animals, every session brings moments of joy, engagement and connection.

The Mobii Table has been an amazing addition to activities here at Southborough, creating meaningful experiences that encourage interaction, reminiscence and plenty of smiles. 🌟
