Measles cases are increasing across the UK β€” but the good news is that measles is preventable with the MMR vaccine.

Measles spreads very easily and can make both children and adults seriously unwell. Checking your vaccination status is one of the best ways to protect yourself, your family, and vulnerable members of our community.

If you or your child have missed an MMR vaccine, or you’re not sure whether you’ve had both doses, please contact your GP practice:

πŸ“ž Everglade Medical Practice

Our teams can check your records, answer your questions, and help you book an appointment if needed.

If you think you or your child may have measles, please call your GP practice or NHS 111 before visiting the surgery so we can help prevent the spread of infection.

Let’s work together to keep our community safe πŸ’™

Local groups will also be present to provide guidance on men’s mental health support, walking groups, smoking cessation, and community befriending services.

Date: Friday 27 March
Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
GP Talk on Prostate Cancer: 12:30 PM
Location: Everglade Medical Practice, The Concourse, NW9 5XT

We encourage men, their families, and members of the community to attend, learn more about men’s health, and access valuable local support services.
