🌈 Our LGBTQ+ Mental Health in the Workplace Survey 2024 Report is now published and free to download in the link below! 🌈

myGwork - LGBT+ professionals hired me to carry out this survey back in April, collecting data from over 1,000 LGBTQ+ professionals from 65 different countries around the world during followed by analysis and report writing throughout .

Sadly but not surprisingly the survey uncovered some concerning findings about the wellbeing, mental health, and safety concerns of the respondents.

In our report we highlight the need for workplaces to step up and offer more support and training on both mental health and LGBTQ+ inclusion and awareness, as the global LGBTQ+ population are in dire need of it. Here are three of the most upsetting findings.

β€’ Almost half (45.6%) of the respondents reported currently being in severe psychological distress.

β€’ Only 13.9% of the respondents felt safe to be completely their authentic selves β€˜in society in general’.

β€’ Almost half (44.6%) of the respondents also reported being diagnosed with depression at some point in their lives.

These statistics speaks for themselves – mental health in our community is sadly not improving. We need to do more to address the stigma, discrimination, and safety concerns far too many in our community still experience on a daily basis.

Nearly half (44.6%) of LGBTQ+ professionals have experienced depression at some point in their lives, a ground-breaking global study carried out by myGwork has found.

We've created a brand-new, unique wellbeing retreat specifically developed for gay, bi, and q***r men wanting to live more authentic lives and improve their relationships with others.

David Baker, co-founder and CEO of Wise Humanity, and I have partnered up to co-create this initiative. Wise Humanity have created and delivered life-changing wellbeing retreats for many years but this will be their first retreat addressing unique issues gay, bi and q***r men are more likely to experience.

This is more than just a retreat; it’s an opportunity to explore your true colours and return home with enhanced self-acceptance and practical tools to live a more authentic, inspired, and connected life every day.
