Hello Everyone!
Here's hoping that this cold weather is almost finished, but as we all know, British weather is unpredictable and around this time of year, our sinuses can become over sensitive and blocked or even worst infected - especially those who have a history of Sinusitis.
As there is still a little while to go before things return to normal and I can happily jump to the rescue by indulging you in a facial massage treatment to clear those passages, I have included below some natural self-remedies and tricks to provide some relief.
What do you need?
Ingredients:
2 x Ginger Sachets (Ginger teabags would work)!
2 x Mint Sachets (Mint teabags would work)!
Horseradish: 6 slices or 2 teaspoons if it is in the jar.
Preparation:
Step One: Add 1.5 litres of water into a saucepan with all of the above ingredients
Step Two: Bring the water up to a boil
Step Three: Take the water off the heat and place it on a level surface.
Step Four: Place a towel over your head and and carefully bend over the pan to inhale the steam. Please note that to avoid burns, keep your distance at first and move in gradually to a comfortable zone.
Enjoy for 10 - 15 minutes and then you can discard the water.
Repeat this 2 times a week to clear your nasal passages and your sinuses should be as good as new!
