August, you were lovely 💛

A month with a little more space for life outside of the usual rhythm.

Celebrating Mum’s birthday, some holiday time surrounded by the beautiful nature of Estonia, flowers, soft moments with friends, and of course… music 🎶

There was also a little bit of looking forward amongst all of the slowing down - venue hunting with Lara for our next Primal Resonance gathering 👀✨

Sun 6th Sept - Late Summer Pause - Group Sound Meditaiton at Yogarise Queen's Park.

Join Craig for the first of his monthly sessoins after the summer break. This evening sound session offers a gentle transition as we align with the changing season - a chance to slow down, settle in and make space for a little rest.

Craig weaves together the resonant tones of singing bowls, the deep and folding waves of gongs, handpan and other acoustic instruments, creating an immersive soundscape to support a feeling of stillness and relaxation. This session offers an opportunity to pause, breathe and simply listen.

Earlier this summer I had the pleasure of spending a few days with some fellow Gong-loving sound alchemists - including the inspiring Mike Tamburo. We enjoyed talking lots about lots and, somewhere in the mix, Mike invited me with my handpan into the mix.

This clip is from a little practice moment of an exercise that further developed, that we called ‘triggers’. I’d play a key part on the handpan to signal a predetermined section that would follow on the pan and the gongs.

It was a really wonderful feeling, playing amongst this field of gongs. In this section, they create this percussive backbone that I play over, keeping a really embodied rhythm going. It was quite the feeling!

Sat 5th Sept - Join me in the wonderful Yoga Loft studio in , for this afternoon session between 4-6pm. Summer begins to soften and the seasons gently begin to change. This gathering offers a chance to pause, reflect and embrace the transition ahead. Join us in the loft for a restful, restorative gathering in sound.

The second edition of Transmission is set to take place on the 27th Sept!
11am-1pm at Siobhan Davies roof studio in Elephant & Castle.

I was wonderfully overwhelmed by the response to the first one back in April. It's clear that a moment to focus, together, on sending love out to the world is an idea others share too 💛 This session is designed using gongs and singing bowls creating collective frequency for the community. It’s a moment for us to gather - an energetic epicentre where we can receive deeply, but also intentionally radiate love outward for the betterment of all 💛
