At our Patient Participation Group last night, we heard from the Essex Wellbeing Service, who came along to talk to the group about all the support that is available for carers. If you are a caregiver for someone, please take a look at the help they can provide.

In our PCN, we have nurses who do home visits, run specialist clinics and play an important role in our outreach programme - plus much more! This , we celebrate the skill, dedication and compassion of nurses working in the PCN and across all our member practices in .

The first Canvey Parkrun event was held last Saturday (2 May) - well done to all 242 finishers. If you would like to take part (at your own pace), the 5k course follows Thorney Bay seafront every Saturday at 9am. Follow Thorney Bay Beach parkrun or visit the Parkrun website for more information.

Patients visit their GP for a range of different reasons and sometimes these issues can be caused by non-medical matters such as loneliness, anxiety, unemployment, illness or debt.

We're very lucky to have two wonderful Social Prescribers working across all our practices in Canvey, who can help patients access the support they need. Here is feedback from some of the people the team has helped.
