5 foods that may naturally support the SAME fullness hormones targeted by Ozempic 👀🌿

No — food is NOT Ozempic.
But science shows that some high-fiber foods can help:
✨ reduce cravings
✨ slow digestion
✨ support blood sugar balance
✨ keep you fuller for longer

My top 5:
🥣 Oats
🫛 Lentils, beans & peas
🌱 Chia seeds
🍎 Apples
🥦 Broccoli

These foods are rich in soluble fiber, prebiotics & nutrients that support gut health and natural GLP-1 pathways.

Small daily habits matter more than extremes 💛

Especially for women 40+ dealing with:
▫️ hormonal belly fat
▫️ insulin resistance
▫️ perimenopause
▫️ energy crashes
▫️ constant cravings

Which one do you already eat regularly? 👇

8 simple strength exercises for women 40+ 🤍
Especially supportive for women with insulin resistance, prediabetes & type 2 diabetes.

One of the BEST things you can do for blood sugar balance after 40?
Build and maintain muscle tissue.

Why?
Muscles act like a “storage space” for glucose. The more active muscle tissue you have, the more efficiently your body can use glucose and respond to insulin.

In simple words:
More muscle = more “doors” for glucose to enter cells instead of staying in the bloodstream ✨

This is why gentle strength training can be incredibly supportive for:
▫️ blood sugar regulation
▫️ insulin sensitivity
▫️ energy levels
▫️ metabolism after 40
▫️ body composition
▫️ healthy aging

This workout is:
✔️ Low impact
✔️ Joint-friendly
✔️ Beginner-friendly
✔️ Using only 2 kg weights

How to do it:
▫️ 15 reps each exercise
▫️ 1–3 rounds depending on your time & fitness level
▫️ Add 1–2 min warm-up + stretching

Example:
You can even do 1 round daily as a quick morning strength routine — takes around 10 minutes 🤍

Important notes:
▫️ Slow, controlled movement
▫️ Exhale during muscle contraction
▫️ Try to REALLY feel the working muscles
▫️ Keep your back straight
▫️ Gradually increase weights or reps over time 😉

Why I can’t lose my belly fat like I did before 😩

A few years ago, it was simple…
Eat a bit less, move a bit more → and my flat stomach was back.

Now after 40?
Same strategy… but nothing happens.

Here’s why 👇
Your body is not the same anymore.

Hormones shift (especially estrogen + cortisol),
your metabolism slows down,
and your body holds onto fat — especially around the belly.

So the old “eat less, exercise more” strategy stops working ❌

✨ New strategy after 40:
• Balance your hormones, not just calories
• Prioritise strength + low-impact movement (not overtraining)
• Support your nervous system (stress = belly fat storage)
• Sleep becomes non-negotiable
• Add daily self-care (not optional anymore)

Because this is not about discipline anymore…
It’s about working with your body, not against it 💛

⚠️Hormonal belly is not an excuse — it’s a physiological reality of perimenopause. 😣

Hormonal shifts affect digestion, lymph flow, fluid balanc, and fat distribution — which is why the belly becomes the most stubborn area after 40.

Follow for practical tips to support your body naturally.

A flat tummy after 40 isn’t built on punishment…
It’s built on respect.
Listening. Caring. Slowing down.
Take care of your body—and enjoy your weekend, girls 🌊

Why your LOWER BELLY
has its own personality after 40 😅

You exercise.
You eat well.
You try your best…

And still — that lower belly has its own plans 😂

I’ve been there myself.

In my 30s?
If my tummy started getting “round”… I’d just increase workouts + clean up my diet — and boom, gone in a couple of weeks.

Now?

It’s NOT enough anymore.

Here’s what’s actually happening in your body after 40 👇

1. Hormonal shifts
Estrogen dominance + changes in progesterone → fat starts redistributing…
…and yes, lower belly becomes a “favourite” storage zone.

2. Lymphatic stagnation
With age + hormonal changes, lymph flow slows down.
Fluid gets “stuck” in areas like: • Lower belly
• Inner thighs
• Hips

→ Result: puffiness, softness, that “jelly” feeling

3. Slower digestion
Changes in microbiome + enzymes = digestion is not the same.
Food sits longer, bloating increases, and the lower belly looks fuller even if you eat healthy.

---

✨ So what’s the solution?

After 40, it’s not about doing MORE…
It’s about doing things DIFFERENTLY.

To get a flatter tummy, we must ADD:
• Daily lymphatic drainage
• Deep breathing (yes, it matters!)
• Support digestion & regular bowel movement
• Gentle, consistent self-care routines

Because your body now needs support, not pressure.
