There’s more than one way to treat varicose veins and the right approach depends on what’s happening within your veins. Endovenous Radiofrequency (EVRF), foam sclerotherapy and Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) are all established minimally invasive treatment approaches.

At UK Vein Clinic, we use EVRF and foam sclerotherapy where appropriate. While EVLA is available elsewhere, we have chosen EVRF as our endothermal ablation treatment based on its controlled energy delivery, vein closure and patient experience.

But before deciding on treatment, understanding your veins comes first. Every patient has a Duplex ultrasound assessment to help us identify the veins involved and create a treatment plan tailored to them.
