Trying to conceive can feel like an emotional minefield. One minute you’re hopeful, the next you’re frustrated, sad, anxious, or completely overwhelmed — sometimes all in the same day.
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, these emotions aren’t random or “too much.” They’re meaningful signals from the body, linked to the Five Elements and your fertility system as a whole.
🔥 Sadness when your period arrives
🌳 Frustration at feeling stuck
🌍 Overthinking everything you eat, do, or Google
💧 Fear about age, time, or whether it will ever happen
🍂 Grief from cycles of hope and disappointment
If this resonates, please know: nothing is wrong with you.
Your body isn’t failing — it’s communicating.
Swipe through the carousel to explore how TCM understands these emotions, and why supporting your emotional health is a vital part of fertility care.

How much exercise is right when you’re trying to conceive?
From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, your menstrual cycle flows through 4 phases - each with different energy needs.
By considering your movement to these phases, you can:
✨ Support Yin & Yang balance
✨ Nourish Qi & Blood
✨ Reduce stress
✨ Encourage an optimal cycle
The 4 Phases:
Menstrual – Passive Yin: Gentle movement, conserve energy.
Follicular – Yin building: Gradually increase activity.
Ovulation – Yin to Yang: Moderate cardio & circulation boosting.
Luteal – Yang phase: Gentle to moderate exercise, avoid overstraining.
💡 Always adapt to your rhythms, fitness level, and how your cycle feels
📌 Save this post to refer back to each cycle
