What a weekend!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for UKCCM26, the joint conference between us at the RCHM and our friends at the BAcC. It was an incredible few days of connection, learning, and celebration.
Coming together for this joint event beautifully highlights our shared vision, mutual support, and deep commitment to advancing the profession of Chinese medicine in the UK.

Here is how our story unfolded:

🕒 Friday: Connecting the Community

The weekend kicked off with our RCHM Herb Hub, where members connected over a shared passion for Chinese herbal medicine. Afterward, we joined the BAcC for drinks and the special Fellows nomination, it was wonderful to celebrate our colleagues and catch up in such a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

📚 Saturday & Sunday: Learning & Collaboration

The conference was officially opened by Jo and Alex, setting a wonderful tone for our theme, *Internal Landscapes*.

- Brilliant Speakers: We learned from world-renowned experts, including keynote Prof. Volker Scheid, and a highly anticipated session with legends of the profession, Mazin Al-Khafaji and Peter Deadman.

- Fascinating Topics: Sessions explored everything from eczema with Mazin Al-Khafaji, to blood and iron deficiency with Julie. We also delved into the microbiome (Martin John), Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (Frances Turner), channel sinews (James Woodward), and hand/ear diagnostics (Jong Baik PhD).

- Case Studies & Panels: Clinical insights and dynamic perspectives took centre stage during our practical case studies and panel discussions.

- Research & Innovation: We proudly showcased brilliant student posters, alongside a dedicated research session led by Ian Appleyard and Prof. Volker Scheid, highlighting the growth of evidence-based practice.

🥂 Saturday Night: Letting Our Hair Down
On Saturday evening, we gathered for our Gala Dinner. With fantastic food, a brilliant live band, and plenty of dancing, it was the perfect way to celebrate our vibrant community!

🤝 Thank You to Our Sponsors
A huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors. Your generous support makes events like this possible, allowing us to bring the community together and drive the profession forward.

We are so proud of the dedication, knowledge, and warmth within the RCHM and our wider community. Thank you to our speakers, organisers, and every single attendee who made this weekend so memorable.
