Getting questions wrong is not the problem.
Repeating the same mistake without reviewing it properly is the problem.
Most students review incorrect questions by reading the explanation once and moving on. But that’s not real review.
A better method:
1️⃣ Identify the mistake
Was it a knowledge gap, misread detail, weak concept, or confusion between two similar diseases?
2️⃣ Explain the answer
Before rereading the full explanation, try to explain why the correct answer is right in your own words.
3️⃣ Study the wrong options
Wrong answers are not useless. They teach you differential diagnosis.
4️⃣ Connect it to a topic
Link the mistake back to First Aid, Pathoma, Sketchy, or your main notes.
5️⃣ Create one rule
Turn the mistake into one short exam rule you can apply next time.
6️⃣ Repeat it later
Come back after a few days. If you can answer it correctly and explain it, that mistake has become knowledge.
Don’t just solve more questions.
Review smarter.
