Link House Nursing Home specialises in nursing, residential and dementia care. Located in Raynes Park, South West London, the highly-trained staff provide round-the-clock care for up to fifty-two people. Daily nutritious meals are provided by the in-house catering team, with a choice of fine dining to suit all tastes and requirements. The Wellbeing team provide a range of interesting and engaging activities from arts and crafts to singing and quizzes.

Today our residents enjoyed another wonderful Freddie’s Flowers session, creating a stunning floral arrangement together. 💐

Working with fresh flowers encourages creativity, conversation, confidence, and brings so much joy. Every bloom adds colour to the day and every smile reminds us how meaningful these shared moments are. ❤️

We had a wonderful morning, as we had our weekly volunteer Lena and a new little volunteer Shannah join us to uplift our residents spiritually, with songs of hymns, spiritual reading and prayers.
Their presence brought joy and positivity, filling the room with warmth and light. It's amazing to see the connection and happiness these sessions create with our residents. A big thank you to our volunteers for their time and love 💕

🎶💛 Today we shared our final Songs & Smiles intergenerational session before the Summer break, and what a wonderful morning it was. Our residents and little friends filled the rooms with music, laughter, smiles and moments of connection.

A huge thank you to everyone who has made these sessions so special throughout the year. We wish all the children and their families a fantastic summer and look forward to welcoming you all back in September with even more songs and smiles! ☀️🎶😊

🌸🌺🌻🍃This afternoon, our residents truly enjoyed the arrival of these beautiful Freddie’s Flowers. 🌸🌼🌺🍃

The vibrant colours brought smiles, joy, and a little extra light to everyone’s day. Spending time together outdoors, creating lovely flower arrangements, was a wonderful way to relax, socialise, and celebrate the beauty of nature.

🌈🎶 Today our lounge was filled with colour, music, laughter and wonderful memories during our Songs & Smiles at our Mother and Children session. 🌈🎶

Residents, children and families came together to sing, play musical instruments, wave colourful scarves and enjoy sensory activities with bubbles and movement.

These intergenerational sessions help to promote social engagement, emotional wellbeing, cognitive stimulation and a sense of belonging, while creating special moments that bring joy to both young and old alike.

At our Gardening Club residents enjoyed a creative Indoor activity as part of our In Bloom journey. 🌼🌺🌷🌿
