Extreme heat can be dangerous for everyone—especially young children, older adults, and those with health conditions. Here’s how to protect yourself and others during this heat warning:

💧 **Stay Hydrated**
Drink plenty of water throughout the day—even if you don’t feel thirsty. Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine.

🏠 **Keep Cool Indoors**
Close blinds/curtains during the day to block out heat. Use fans where safe, and spend time in cooler places if possible (e.g. shopping centres, libraries).

👕 **Dress Smart**
Wear light, loose-fitting clothing and a hat when outdoors. Choose breathable fabrics like cotton.

⏰ **Avoid Peak Heat Hours**
Reduce outdoor activities between 11am–3pm when the sun is strongest.

🧴 **Protect Your Skin**
Use sunscreen (SPF 30+) and reapply regularly. Sunburn can increase the risk of heat-related illness.

👶👵 **Check on Others**
Stay connected with elderly neighbours, friends, and vulnerable individuals. Never leave children or pets in parked cars—even for a minute.

🐾 **Care for Pets**
Ensure animals have shade, fresh water, and cool areas to rest.

Seek help if you or someone else experiences dizziness, confusion, nausea, headache, or rapid heartbeat.

What a busy and rewarding weekend for our teams! 💪✨

We were proud to support the incredible Afro kantab Fest event—a vibrant celebration dedicated to bringing communities together through music, culture, food, and shared experiences. It was amazing to see so many people come together in such a positive atmosphere, truly embracing unity and good vibes 🙌🌍

Alongside this, our teams were on hand at the Wargrave Festival PTA Charity Event, a fantastic community-focused day raising funds to support local schools. With families, activities, and entertainment throughout the day, it was great to play a part in helping create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved ❤️

We also had the pleasure of supporting our valued business partners and at their respective events 🤝

And of course, we continued our longstanding support for the Race the Dragon UK Boat Race at the ACF Race, a high-energy and exciting event that never fails to bring teams and spectators together 🐉🚣

A huge thank you to all of our teams for their dedication, professionalism, and hard work across such a packed weekend of events! 👏
