Listening to the slimming world podcast on a Friday on my way to group as a member has become a real tradition for me, so It felt pretty special listening to my consultant (and friend!) Vikki as the guest with her incredibly inspiring member Fiona who was recently crowned Greatest Loser 2026 having lost nearly 21 stone!

It really helped me to remember what is possible with Slimming World.

Had the absolute pleasure of being in the room when this was announced in group last week.
Fiona is an inspiration and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her now!

And a local gal too in Bexleyheath!

‘I’ve gone from just existing to really living 🙌!’ Raise the roof for Fiona, who has been named Slimming World’s Greatest Loser 2026 👑! She’s lost a jaw-dropping 20st 8.5lbs (130.9kg) 😱 after years of putting her life on hold because of her weight 💔.

At 35st (222.3kg), Fiona believed weight loss surgery was her only hope, so she joined her local Slimming World group with a plan to lose the 3st (19kg) needed to qualify. As the weight came off, she realised she could keep going without the need for surgery and her world began to open up 🤩.

From avoiding leaving the house to loving being active, exploring new places and saying ‘yes’ to every adventure 🥹, Fiona has truly transformed her life.

Please can I introduce you to Dan who joined with a 12 week referral, Today I have him his 3 stone award and I couldn’t be prouder, have loved watching him learn to believe in himself and he is so much more confident than when we first met.

Dan says:
“When I first joined, I hated everything. My depression was really bad and I struggled to get out of bed and work. I went to the GP and when they told me about slimming world I genuinely didn’t believe it would work. I went to the first session only because my Nan was down for the weekend and she pushed me to go.

Suddenly im here 3 stone lighter, with an amazing group of people around me who I honestly could not thank more for helping me break through and start living life again.

This isn’t my end goal but today everyone was so supportive at a time that I truly needed it and I thank you all “
