We recently came together here Brackenbridge House for a small gathering to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our wonderful team ๐Ÿ’œ

Everyone enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal, with lots of laughter, chats and a chance to relax together away from the busy day to day routine. It was a lovely way to recognise the effort and care that each member of the team brings to our home every single day ๐Ÿ˜Š

Weโ€™re so pleased to share a lovely moment from Brackenbridge House as we celebrate our Employee of the Month ๐Ÿ’œ

Itโ€™s always such a nice feeling to take a pause and recognise the dedication and kindness shown day in and day out. This award is a little thank you for someone who consistently goes the extra mile and brings such a positive energy to our home ๐ŸŒŸ

There were lots of smiles and congratulations shared, and it really reflected the supportive spirit we have here, where everyone encourages and uplifts one another.

A big well done, and a heartfelt thank you for all that you do. Weโ€™re lucky to have you as part of the team ๐Ÿ’œ

We had a lovely visit from students at Queensmead School , who brought a real buzz into Brackenbridge House with them ๐Ÿ’œ

They came along with boxing gloves for a fun little session, and our wonderful residents were more than happy to give them a try. There were plenty of playful punches, lots of giggles, and a few surprise moves too. Itโ€™s safe to say everyone got into the spirit of it.

Afterwards, we saw some really special moments as the students sat and chatted with our residents. Stories were shared, smiles were exchanged, and it felt like genuine connections were being made across the generations.

These visits always bring something a little extra to the day, for our residents and the young people too. Weโ€™re already looking forward to the next one. Who do you think had the better boxing skills? ๐ŸฅŠ

April didnโ€™t feel like one big moment across our homes, but lots of smaller ones and thatโ€™s what made it so special ๐Ÿ’œ

There were Easter crafts, feasts, time spent outside as the weather picked up, and plenty of conversations sparked along the way. We also took time to recognise Autism Acceptance Week and Parkinsonโ€™s Awareness Week, creating space to learn, reflect and support one another.

St Georgeโ€™s Day brought a bit of fun and familiarity too, with simple touches that made people smile ๐Ÿด

Itโ€™s these everyday moments that shape life in our homes, not just the celebrations, but the time spent together in between.

A big thank you, as always, to our teams for everything they do to make those moments happen

Hereโ€™s a little look at April across our homes ๐Ÿ“ธ
