There was plenty of colour on display at Brackenbridge House ! 💐💜

Our wonderful residents enjoyed spending some time arranging flowers, choosing their favourite blooms and creating their own floral displays. There was lots to admire, from the beautiful colours to the lovely scents, and everyone had their own ideas about what looked best.

We had a lovely time celebrating afternoon tea week at Brackenbridge House this week! ☕🧁💜

Our wonderful residents got stuck in with some baking first, making delicious cupcakes ready for our afternoon tea trolley. Later on, we enjoyed a proper cuppa, some tasty treats and plenty of time to sit together and catch up.

It was a lovely excuse to put the kettle on, enjoy a slice of cake and spend some time with our residents and their loved ones 😊

🌻🎨 Sunflowers seemed like the perfect choice for a summer painting session at Brackenbridge House.

Using a sunflower picture for inspiration, one of our talented residents got to work, carefully recreating it on canvas. There was plenty of concentration along the way, and the finished painting was certainly something to be proud of 💜

We love seeing our lovely residents pick up the paintbrush and create something that is completely their own. What a lovely piece to brighten up our home! 🌻

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

Our wonderful residents at Brackenbridge House enjoyed choosing their favourite flavours before sitting back, relaxing and making the most of the warm weather together. There were plenty of chats, happy smiles and a few comments about how refreshing they were. 💜

Happy Birthday, Lorna! 🎉🎂

We had a lovely time celebrating Lorna’s special day at Brackenbridge House , surrounded by her family, friends and our wonderful team. She was spoilt with cards, kind birthday wishes and lots of time spent together 💜

A special mention has to go to our talented chef, who created the most colourful birthday cake for Lorna. It looked fantastic and, judging by the empty plates, tasted just as good! 🎂

John celebrated his special day surrounded by his family and our wonderful team, making it a lovely occasion to remember. Our talented chef also baked a beautiful birthday cake especially for him, which was the perfect finishing touch to the celebrations 🎂

We hope you had a fantastic day, John, and wish you happiness and good health for the year ahead 💜

World Chocolate Day at Brackenbridge House was the perfect excuse to enjoy a few sweet treats together! 🍫💜

Our lovely residents had great fun mixing, decorating and creating their own chocolate biscuits, with the delicious smell of chocolate filling the kitchen as they baked. There were plenty of chats and smiles along the way too.

Later, everyone tucked into their freshly baked biscuits with a cosy cup of tea. Sometimes the simplest afternoons are the sweetest 💜

The sunshine called for a few simple pleasures at Brackenbridge House , and our wonderful residents were more than happy to make the most of it! ☀️🍦

There was lots of fun with bubbles in the garden before everyone enjoyed a well deserved ice cream to cool down. Sometimes it's the little things that make for the loveliest afternoons, especially when they're shared together 💜

With smiles all around and the summer sunshine on our side, it was a lovely way to spend the day 🫧

June brought plenty of reasons to celebrate across our homes, with lots of special moments shared together along the way 💜

We marked Care Home Open Week by welcoming visitors into our homes, celebrated Pride Month with colourful activities and conversations, and enjoyed making Father's Day a memorable one for the wonderful father figures in our community 🌈

There was also time for some light hearted fun as we tucked into National Fish and Chips Day, got creative for National Cheese Day, and found lots of other reasons to smile throughout the month 🧀🐟
