Today marks 25 years since the attacks of 11 September 2001.

We pause to remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives, the emergency service personnel who ran towards danger to help others, and the countless families whose lives were changed forever.

Though a quarter of a century has passed, their memory lives on.

Today, our thoughts are with everyone who lost a loved one and all those who continue to carry the impact of that day.

📣 We’re Hiring – Join Our Team 📣

We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our on-call team. Previous experience is not essential as training is provided.

🕊 Opportunities throughout London
- On-Call Team Members
- Casual Staff Members

🖤 The Role
- Helping bringing someones loved one into our care, this may involve challenging locations and circumstances.
- Driving our vehicles and ensuring all are in a pristine condition for each funeral.
- Acting as a bearer on a funeral.
- Supporting our local communities and acting as a trusted ambassador for our funeral care services
- This role will involve manual handling.

⏰ Shift Options
We are happy to accept candidates who can work half shifts and certain days. Please contact us to talk to us about your availability.

🚗 Requirements
Full, valid UK driving licence
Emotionally mature and empathetic nature
Reliable, flexible and professional
Physically able to meet the demands of the role

This position would suit someone who understands the importance of dignity, care and compassion, and who can remain calm and respectful in sensitive situations.

🚐🇱🇹 Repatriation Journey Update – Lithuania

The first leg of the journey is now complete as our Company Director, Adam, has successfully reached the ferry and is now on board travelling from Harwich to Holland.

Tomorrow morning begins the second stage of this important journey — a 16½-hour drive covering approximately 1,170 miles across three countries before finally arriving in Lithuania, where we will return a much-loved gentleman to his homeland and family.

After working tirelessly over the past few days to arrange the repatriation of a gentleman back to his home country of Lithuania by air, we unfortunately faced ongoing challenges due to a lack of available flights to the region.

Rather than let a family down during one of the most difficult times of their lives, Company Director Adam has personally set off to repatriate this gentleman by land, ensuring he is returned home with the dignity, care and respect he deserves.

At Eternal Pages Funeral Directors, we understand that every family’s wishes matter. When obstacles arise, we do everything possible to honour those wishes and bring loved ones home.

Meanwhile, Adam is accompanying a gentleman to Manchester Airport, ensuring his safe and dignified journey as he is repatriated to his home country of Pakistan.
