What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning at Lawnfield.
The Carousel theatre put on a show for called the sizzling 60s.
They had many costume changes and great songs from the 60s.
The residents and staff loved it.

Once again I have to say a big THANK YOU to the flower friends for all their hard work making up 4 birthday bouquets,vases for the residents rooms and 17 bouquets for staff 💐💐💐💐💐💐

A lovely morning at Lawnfield for our Care Home Open week. The amazing Albert's Band came to entertain us and going back about the history of the Albert Hall.

The residents joined in with all the songs and each person received the Albert Hall song book to keep. Royal Albert Hall

Lawnfield residents were getting in the mood today ready for the World Cup ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
We did a syndicate for all the residents to pick out a team and the flag for each team will go onto their bedroom doors 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇸🇨 the residents were definitely getting into the spirit of things and kicking the big ball to each other

We would like to wish Gina a very happy birthday 🎂
We had a lovely afternoon with music and birthday cake.
Gina was the star of the show as normal 🌟 singing along with all the songs.

And last but not least of our three Senior Care Assistants to be highlighted is the amazing Adeline! 💝

Adeline is one of our longest-serving team members, having dedicated an incredible 23 years to Lawnfield House! 🌟

She still looks forward to coming to work every day, especially spending time with our residents. Adeline believes there is so much we can learn from their life experiences and stories.

In Adeline's words, "you have to support and respect the residents as we are simply working in their homes, if you have this attitude then I feel you can have a very successful career in care.”

We had a lovely time in the garden yesterday with the residents.
We played some garden games and had lunch outside.
We were joined with our new volunteer Lydia
