Drink water throughout the day even if you're not thirsty, and keep your space cool with blinds, fans, or AC. If you can, check in with someone during extreme heat so you can look out for each other.

Priya sat on the edge of her sofa in a flat in Leeds and typed one word. "Hi." She had put it off for weeks. Her baby was six months old, her partner was doing his best, and every morning she felt as though she were behind a pane of glass. She had registered on the knus members portal the night before and now,
finally, said hello.

Shortly after, a peer support coach replied. "Hello Priya, I'm Hannah. Take your time." Hana had felt that pane of glass four years earlier. By the end of the half hour, Priya had booked another chat for Thursday. It was the first thing she had arranged for herself in months.

We are proud to announce that the knus members area is officially live in the UK.

knus is a mental health peer support service built for everyone touched by mental health, whether that is you, someone in your family, or a friend who wants to show up better. The members area brings together mental health education, peer community groups, and courses in one dedicated space.
At launch, members have access to:

An interactive mental health conditions directory covering over 40 conditions across 10 categories, in both clinical and plain-language formats.

The Overcoming Anxiety Course, relaunched with a fresh look and a self-paced, compassionate approach to understanding and managing anxiety.

Four peer focus group communities: Beyond the Grey, Riding the Waves, Real Voices, and Beyond the Trauma.

The Wellbeing Oracle wisdom card collection, discounts, and early adopter registration for the knus chat app.

Speaking of which, the knus chat app is in its final stages of testing. When it launches, members will be able to message, call, and video call trained volunteer peer support coaches directly through the platform.

This is just the beginning.
