Reflecting on August..
🍃How some of the most transformative moments were the quietest
🍃 How gratitude can bridge the gap between pain and hope
🍃 How nature teaches us to just be here in the moment, to be content with what we have
🍃 That it is Ok to be open and tender
🍃 How a bit of spaciousness can open our hearts and capacity to create and dream

I know a lot of terms get banded around. And I am definitely guilty of using multiple!

Over this last year, Mindful Transformation, has stuck.

As a concept, a framework, and honestly a deep rooted feeling that I believe is the needed antidote to the usual pace and pressure of typical transformation endeavours.

Both individually and in organisations.

It is an updated way of being in this world, for us to sustainably manage continuous change, and experience the transformation we actually want.

Through a combination of mindfulness practices, a deeper awareness of the body’s intelligence and a commitment to connecting to the whole self.

An ability to re-learn how to pay attention to our lives, and how we grow into the fullest expression of who are meant to be.

The practice of Mindful Transformation has been integral to how I process and evolve in my own life day to day.

Releasing >creating space >paying attention >growing

I would love to know if this resonates with you?

Why do I feel so passionately about sharing the challenges as well as the wins?

Because to be able to fully flourish, we have to know how to be with ourselves through the brighter and darker days.

To feel the full depth and breadth of what it means to be human, to be in your own skin.

We are meant to feel, deeply, honestly, openly.. but somehow along the way we’ve lost not only the capability, but also the courage to show up in our wholeness.

In the small ways, the big ways.. in any way that is meaningful and appropriate to you.

I think we have a lot of re-learning to do if we are going to flourish, not just function alongside the big drivers of Tech and AI.

I have been fortunate enough to be immersed in both AI and Coaching / Somatic practice —

— bringing the human element to the conversation is the focus of my work —

— both 1:1 coaching and leadership coaching and workshops in organisations.

If you are feeling like you’re functioning over flourishing, I’d love to connect!

Gathering oneself after grief - a topic which has been close to my heart in the last few months.

Since being in Barcelona I have felt a stronger sense to be more open and vulnerable with my own experiences.

My hope is that it supports anyone going through the unpredictable motions of grief, and offers a sense of connection that you are not alone.

That many of us are experiencing loss in any different forms - a loss of a life that ones was, a loved one, a home, a job, a deeply rooted professional identity…

I think this delicate topic of loss deserves more conversation, more support and more openness in an appropriate way.

My heart is with anyone who is experiencing loss in any form right now.

My hope in sharing these reflections is a reminder that
you are not alone. And in the re-shaping of life after loss, there is hope and possibility.

If you feel you need support, please reach out for it.

“The river remembers its floods. The person who has been flooded and survived is carrying, in
the changed landscape of their character, the memory of the flood. This is not the trauma,
though it may include it. It is the geological consequence of having been fully alive in a world
that does not limit its forces to those we can comfortably manage.”
- Grerley Mutibura, A Philosophy: The Way of Water

I love the ripple effect of connections! You meet one person, they introduce you to another and so the ripple continues!...

I love the ripple effect of connections!

You meet one person, they introduce you to another and so the ripple continues!

I had the opportunity to meet the brilliant Anna-Marie Watson last week - one of the editors of this book - and I can’t wait to dig into it over the next couple weeks.

Following the Welsh 3000 challenge a few weeks ago, I am excited to explore an intentional shift to outdoor coaching.

I have experienced first hand the powerful benefits of being outdoors in terms of perspective, performance and resilience.

I have found my coaching is naturally shifting outside, and anytime I personally am looking for clarity, being outdoors always delivers.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be unplugging to reflect on all I have learned, and think about how I weave in the outdoor practice more prominently in my offerings.

Excited to dig into this book for guidance and inspiration!

🌀 The side steps..
🌀 The back steps..
🌀 The leaps..
🌀 The stalls..

Every move is learning, teaching, shaping you.

Whether you’re dancing around in excitement, or feeling a little stuck.

Our paths are never linear, they are not always free flowing.

Sometimes there are boulders to climb over and it feels like it takes us “off track” in the traditional sense.

But truly, I have learned there is never an “off track” - and the more we can “unlearn” that success needs to look linear, explained, polished…

The more we can embrace what it means to be humans finding our way.. in a messy, imperfect, exciting adventurous and totally unknown way!

Every day, the world moves at a pace that isn’t ours- back-to-backs, always on, keep up or fall behind.

For a long time I thought the only choice was to keep pace, or burn out trying.

But there’s another way: agency. The ability to choose - even inside the pace and pressure.

With so much change and uncertainty, there is actually a unique opportunity to regain our sense of agency.

Thats what I’m building on now. An ever evolving toolkit to help you cultivate agency, one choice at a time.

Where in your day could you choose, instead of just keep up?
