SLEEP
- Do not share an air mattress with someone else, you will fly around all night and have such broken sleep, one mattress per person
- Take your own good pillow, no inflatable pillows
- Get a high quality light blocking eye mask & wax earplugs
- Wear a headlight beanie for midnight emergencies

WARMTH
- Disposable hand warmers are great in your pockets for chilly mornings
- Rechargeable hand warmer is a great alternative to a hot water bottle and can keep your sleeping bag cosy all night

BODY
- Citronella candle and bug spray, we don’t need any additional inflammation courtesy of mosquitoes tysm
- SPF & sun hat, many meds make your skin more sensitive to sun and our illnesses are already aging us enough
- Compression socks if you’re planning to walk a lot
- Plenty of mix n match layers for looking gorge 🫶🏼

The most incredible trip filled with adventure, sun, challenges, love, food, mindfulness & seeing things I’d only dreamed of seeing.

I know how it feels to have things like this feel so out of your reach. We talk about how fast life can change on this weeks episode of the - at the end of last year I never would have imagined I’d be climbing in California and seeing the sequoias with the special people I now have in my life (including who I wouldn’t even know existed if it wasn’t for a little thing called RA)

So this is a reminder to keep dreaming, keep writing about what you want, not compromising on things that hold you back, keep working on your fitness and keep expecting better days ⛅️
