Had cataract surgery and noticed your vision becoming cloudy again? 👁️

It’s easy to think, “Has my cataract come back?” But there’s an important distinction to know.

A cataract itself doesn’t grow back after it has been removed. However, some people can develop Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO), which may cause blurred or hazy vision months or even years after surgery.

The good news? PCO can often be treated with a YAG laser procedure. ✨

If your vision has changed after cataract surgery, don’t simply assume it’s part of ageing or that you need another operation. Getting the right diagnosis is the first step. 💙

Six days on, and Stephen is already seeing the changes. 👀✨

The bags beneath the eyes and around the cheeks have reduced, but recovery doesn't follow a magic timeline. There's still some swelling and bruising, and that's all part of the early healing process.

We caught up with Stephen during his stitch removal to hear, in his own words, how he found the whole experience. 🤍
