Sue Bailes Acupuncture I trained at the University of Westminster and then completed postgraduate study in Shanghai, China.

Susan qualified in Acupuncture at the University of Westminster where she obtained a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture. Soon after she took a career break to bring up her daughter. In November 2013 Sue went on a study trip to China to the University of Shanghai where she practised acupuncture in a district hospital alongside Dr Huang. In-patients she treated at the hospital i

ncluded stroke patients and chronic back pain. In the general walk-in clinic Sue treated mostly patients with musculoskeletal problems (e.g. neck and back pain and tennis elbow), gynaecological problems (menopausal and period problems) and Bells Palsy. She is now offering her services in the relaxing surroundings of her own home in Walthamstow. Please private message or phone her on 07791 414440 her for an appointment.

Happy new year from my family to yours!

Wishing you much movement and growth with the forthcoming Year of the Fire Horse. We are still in the year of the snake. Many have found this transition difficult as sometimes we have many layers to shed. The Chinese new year isn’t until 17 February 2026 so this can be ongoing until then!

I’d like to thank all my clients past and present for trusting me with your healthcare needs and look forward to seeing you in 2026.

It is the most yin time of the year and is the darkest day with the least hours of daylight.

It is time to slow down, sleep more, nourish your body. If you look outside in nature everything has slowed down and has gone inwards in preparation for the spring.
