Kyber learned the hard way that hair definitely isn’t on the menu! 😹🐾

This mischievous boy needed emergency abdominal surgery after swallowing some of his mum’s hair, which caused a blockage in his intestines.

Thankfully, the blockage was successfully removed and Kyber is now back to his usual naughty, fun-loving self. 💙✨

We’re very glad to see you feeling better, Kyber!

🐾 Great news for our feline friends! 🐱

We're proud to have been **reaccredited as a Cat Friendly Clinic** by the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).

Cats experience the world very differently to dogs, which is why we've worked hard to create an environment that helps reduce stress and supports their wellbeing. Our team is specially trained in gentle feline handling, and our practice follows recognised cat-friendly standards to help every visit be as positive as possible.

Whether your cat is visiting for a routine check-up or something more complex, you can be confident they're in caring, experienced hands. 💙

Grass seeds may look harmless, but their barbed shape means they can travel in one direction only - into your dog’s skin, ears, eyes, paws or nose. Take a minute after every walk to check your dog over, especially during the summer months ☀️

If you notice excessive licking, head shaking, sneezing or a painful eye, contact your vet promptly 📞

They were both such good patients and enjoyed plenty of fuss from the team during their visit 😊

☀️🐶 Heatwave incoming! Before walking your dog this weekend, try the five-second pavement test 🖐️

If you can comfortably hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds 👍, it should be safe for your dog’s paws. If not, it’s too hot! 🔥🐾

Remember to walk early morning or later in the evening, bring water, and keep your pets cool 💙
